Learning in public

Weekly updates on what I’m building, learning, and figuring out along the way.

The problem is, I like so many different things that I’m constantly confused about what direction I want to go in. I attempted at a few business ideas, jumped from one idea to another, and each time I’d lose momentum, I’d stop.

I thought I just lacked the discipline to stick to one thing and keep going (which partly might have been true), but I think I finally I realized it wasn’t necessarily about that.

There’s a lot that could go into this but I would boil it down to two key ideas:

  1. I was building things that I didn’t genuinely believed in

  2. I wasn’t iterating fast enough

Naval Ravikant talks about the importance of quick experimentation and iteration. I needed to learn to follow my genuine curiosities and quit quickly if I didn’t feel aligned with what I was trying early on.

Ultimately my goal is to have the freedom to design my life on my own terms; choosing how I spend my time, where I work, what I create—so that I can pursue work and experiences that are aligned with my values. Cliche maybe but it’s what it comes down to. More on this another time.

This newsletter is my way of documenting that process.
Every week, I’ll share:

  • What I worked on

  • What I learned

  • Challenges I faced

  • Next Steps

  • Cool stuff I’m reading, watching, or listening to

As of right now, I’m diving into AI and automation for businesses. It’s a skill that I think is in demand and can be really valuable to businesses. Plus it seems really interesting to me.

I’m going to try my best to document as I experiment and iterate. but it probably won’t be super polished. Nonetheless, I’m excited to try this out and next week I’ll expand on why I chose AI automations, more on what I learned up till this point, and anything else I’m thinking about along the way.

Thanks for reading. See ya next week.
